1. How are teams formed?
There will be 1-2 days of evaluations. Coaches will grade each athlete and then have a draft. The goal of Homestead Youth Football is to create equal teams to create as much competition as possible.
2. Do players need previous football experience?
No prior playing experience is required to join Homestead Youth Football.
3. What equipment does my child need to play?
Tackle & Prep for Tackle: Players will need to provide their own mouthguard, cleats, and pants (white).
Flag: Players will need to provide their own mouthguard and cleats.
4. Is there a fee to join the league?
Tackle and Prep for Tackle will be $160. Flag will be $125. Families that need financial add please reach out to [email protected]
5. When and where are practices and games held?
Practices for Tackle and Prep for Tackle will be held Monday-Thursday. Typically 2-3 days a week ranging from 60-120minutes. Games will be held on Saturdays mainly at Homestead. However, there may be times where travel is required for games against surrounding communities.
Flag will have their practices an hour before their game. Games and practices will be on Sundays.
6. How do I sign up as a coach?
Please go to our volunteer page or if signing up a child at the end of registration there will be an option as well.
7. Are there volunteer opportunities?

8. What happens if my child can’t make it to a practice or game?
Please reach out directly to your coach.
9. How is team communication handled?
All updates will be seen on this website. However, your coach will determine the best way to communicate all pertinent information.
